About Our Coffee
-
It depends on your brewing method, & recipe, but as an approximate guide :
Espresso :
250g = 12 cups (double shot)
1kg = 50 cups (double shot)Filter :
250g = 16 cups
1kg = 65 cups -
There are a myriad of factors involved in brewing delicious coffee from the comfort of your home, but if you remember these 3 golden rules, you'll be on the right track :
- Always grind fresh
- Always use filtered water
- Always brew great quality beans
-
The greatest enemies to your beans are air, moisture, heat, and light. To preserve their fresh roasted flavour as long as possible, store them in an opaque, air-tight container at room temperature. Coffee beans can be beautiful, but avoid clear canisters which will allow light to compromise the taste of your coffee.
-
Making coffee is a nuanced experience, but one that doesn't have to be over complicated.
Using a timer & a scale for measuring your coffee's weight & brew times are great ways you can keep track of what's happening, and then make the necessary adjustments if something isn't quite right.
