Grown at 1500–1800 masl in the volcanic soils of the Apaneca-Lamatepec mountains, this coffee thrives in cool temperatures that slow cherry ripening for enhanced sweetness and complexity. The Costa Rica 95 variety, a high-yielding hybrid, flourishes under natural shade and careful cultivation. After 16–20 days of sun-drying, followed by greenhouse finishing, each batch undergoes meticulous quality control before export. Finca Majahual is dedicated to sustainability, prioritising eco-friendly farming and community well-being through education, healthcare, and ethical labor practices. Taste the result of passion, precision, and purpose in every cup.
A filter roast is a lighter roasting style designed to highlight the coffee’s natural flavours, acidity, and sweetness, making it perfect for brewing methods like pour-over, drip, and AeroPress.

There are a myriad of factors involved in brewing delicious coffee from the comfort of your home, but if you remember these 3 golden rules, you'll be on the right track :
- Always grind fresh
- Always use filtered water
- Always brew great quality beans
-
The greatest enemies to your beans are air, moisture, heat, and light. To preserve their fresh roasted flavour as long as possible, store them in an opaque, air-tight container at room temperature. Coffee beans can be beautiful, but avoid clear canisters which will allow light to compromise the taste of your coffee.
-
Making coffee is a nuanced experience, but one that doesn't have to be over complicated.
Using a timer & a scale for measuring your coffee's weight & brew times are great ways you can keep track of what's happening, and then make the necessary adjustments if something isn't quite right.
